Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 23 September 2026

In short

Some links on Visitor Break Palma (palma.visitorbreak.com) may be affiliate links. If you book a stay, experience, tour or similar through one of them, we may earn a commission. That does not cost you extra.

We publish this page so you can decide for yourself. Transparency matters more than a quiet footer line.

How it works

  1. You read a guide (for example a day trip, neighbourhood walk or “where to stay” area note).
  2. Where it is useful, we may include a booking or experience link.
  3. If you complete a qualifying booking via that link, the partner may pay us a commission.
  4. You pay the same price you would have paid by going directly (or sometimes a partner promo applies — that is their offer, not a markup from us).

Editorial independence

Commissions do not buy our recommendations.

  • Our coverage is editorially independent: partners have no influence over which places we cover, how we describe them or where they appear on a page.
  • Area guides and practical pages stay accuracy-first: prices, hours and fares are left to official sources.
  • If something is not a good fit for the trip we are describing, we will not shoehorn an affiliate link into it.
  • When we mention a place or activity without a booking link, that is normal — most of the site is free guidance.

If we ever feature a paid placement separately from affiliate links, we will label it clearly.

What kinds of partners

When programmes are approved, links may relate to categories such as:

  • Experiences, tours and boat trips — soft booking links after a harbour or day-trip guide
  • Accommodation booking — from area “where to stay” context, not a ranked hotel list
  • Other travel services — only where they are useful and disclosed

We will name live partners and programmes on this page as they are approved. Until a partner is listed here (or clearly labelled beside a link), do not treat a mention as a commercial relationship.

How to spot affiliate links

We aim to make affiliate relationships easy to notice:

  • A short note near the link or at the top or bottom of the page
  • Wording such as “we may earn a commission” or a labelled booking button
  • This disclosure page linked from the site footer and from About

If a link does not carry an affiliate relationship, we will not pretend it does.

Your choice

You never have to use our links. Search the operator directly, book in person, or use another platform. The guides should still be useful either way.

Supporting the site via affiliate bookings — when you were going to book anyway — helps us keep publishing practical Palma content. Thank you if you do; no hard feelings if you do not.
